Bowling

We had wanted to go bowling for Harlow's birthday but with all the fun birthday stuff he didn't get a nap and come evening he was a tired, grumpy guy.  So we went for FHE a few days later.  Harlow thought it was a lot of fun but didn't want to wait while Mom and Dad bowled and became a wander, making some new friends.  Kelton was happy, even though he got stuck in the carseat the whole time.  It's been a long time since we've been bowling but we didn't do too terrible.  A bummer, toward the end of our game our lane either shut off or we didn't realize we were bowling our last round...Nathan was in the middle of his bowl and the lights turned off at the end of the lane.  We didn't even get to see our final scores. oh well.  We were ready to head out anyways.

-Loves Eggs and toast for breakfast

-Watched Sword in the Stone and part of Dumbo while Mom made cake and got ready. 

-Helped Mom make frosting and some messes too

-Daddy went hunting with Jason Reil this morning, chucker - but he didn't get anything

-Went to Bicentenial Park, low key, pizza, cup cakes, cake and ice cream. Just played on play ground, football, frisbee, Nathan flew his air planes, talked. Weather was amazing, 55 degrees, nice and sunny. Gorgeous weather. 

-DeMatteis, Jeff and Monique, Laing's, Amanda and Taylor, Elgaaens, Bethany Davis and kids, Jen Knapp and some kiddos (Leo, Emma, Zean, Zander), Joel and Beth clan, Sara and Spencer.

-Came home, Nathan fell asleep, the boys were cranky but now it's too late to nap but too early to go to bed, now left with two cranky bums. Got a spaghetti dinner all ready and sent Harlow upstairs to tell Daddy that we were ready to eat. Finally realized that I hadn't seen or heard from him in quite awhile. He had gone up and gotten into bed with Nathan and both were conked out.

Harlow and I have been able to help Sara out and be some of her dental hygiene patients.  The appointments are a bit long but she's doing a great job and we like knowing that we're helping her out.  Here's Harlow sporting the Spiderman sunglasses and being such a good patient for his Aunt Sara.

My Timid Mamas Boy

Kelton likes his Mama, a whole lot.  And pretty much wants to stay with me all the time which can be difficult/impossible at different points in the day, and he is left crying, with panic in his voice as I take the fresh load of clean laundry upstairs.  Poor guy and poor me...and poor daddy, cause sometimes I need Daddy to watch him and our Kelton boy isn't a very good sport, leaving Nathan with a crying baby until I get back.  Kelton, you gave Amanda Pinto and Kathy Roberts quite the time when they've babysat you...You need to not cry for our friends or Mommy and Daddy wont get very many temple and date nights.   I'm sure its a stage and that he'll grow out of it...right?

He is also a timid guy; its quite funny.  He doesn't like it when I turn on the vacuum, is terrified of our neighbors great-dame Lily, and scared of the stairs.  He'll smile at you and then hide his face in my shoulder.  If I hand him to and leave we sometimes get better results than if I stay around where he can see me.

He is such a doll.  He cuddles so wonderfully with me.  When I am talking to someone else he will move his face right in front of my face, look me in the eyes and then smile, as if he's saying "Hey Mommy, you're suppose to be looking at and adoring me!" He likes to give me kisses and pats my back.  I love my little Mamas boy more than words can say - I am such a lucky and blessed woman
