Houston, TX

I couldn't be more thankful for the wonderful women who are watching over our babies! Sara Brown, Amanda Pinto, Becca Laing, and especially.  Whitney Rasmussen!! It is hard to leave your little ones but it's a little easier when you know you have amazing, loving women taking care of them!

Saturday morning we got up and went to the Houston LDS Temple. It is so beautiful! We were able to do a session and after it was done we wanted to go see the baptistery. They snagged us up and we were able to help them for about 40 minutes. We were dying laughing when the guy doing the baptisms said "Ramirez" as "Remmerez". And the older spanish brother that was doing confirmations said it so fast that there wasn't any word separation at all.

We walked around the outside of the temple and just fell more and more in love with Houston. You could definitely feel the humidity, but it was nice and the temperature was very mild.

We spent the rest of the day driving around, looking at different housing developments and trying to get an idea of where we might want to live.

Sunday morning I woke up and my heart was physically hurting! I had a pain in my chest. I was homesick for my boys. While I was getting ready for church and on our  drive there everything I saw reminded me of the boys. By the time church started I was on the brink of tears. We got a text from Whitney and it was pictures of Harlow and Kelton all in their suits ready to go to church. I burst into tears the instant I saw them. There they are passing the sacrament to us and Nathan has his arm around me and I'm just trying to control my tears and shaking shoulders.

All the food we ate was delicious and we hear that it will just keep getting better.

It is so lush and green. You drive on the freeway, on overpasses and the trees come up past and tower over you. You drive down the street and you're going through a tunnel of trees. If you aren't looking at your Google maps you'll drive right past malls and Costco and all these stores because you can't see them on the other side of all those trees.

Nathan did a great job with Halliburton. The guys loved him and we have officially been offered the job!

We loved Houston! But it's good to be back home with our boys! We are super excited to move to Houston come June 💗
