Park

The park we normally go to is covered with hard snow/ice so we decided to come visit another one today.  (We had to get out of the house, we were both having cabin fever...you know those days in the winter time.  I really do feel like a hermit.  I want it to be spring.)  

We played on the playground then ran out in the field.  There was dog poop everywhere.  Harlow said "Poo Poo!  Yucky!"and was pointing at all of them.  We are still working at potty training so this was a big deal to him.  I told him that doggies poop on the ground and that's yucky.  WE still go poo poo on the toilet!  Then he wanted to clean them all up...ummm nope, sorry kiddo!  (*I will say that I am thankful for Harlow's example of wanting to clean and pick up trash and make this world a more beautiful place.  I need to bring a little bag with us more often so we can make our little bit of a difference.  Children can teach us such beautiful and simple lessons, if only we let them.)
